M. ELIZABETE COSTA
Lawyer
Costa Law has a focus on criminal, regulatory, quasi-criminal litigation, and select civil cases. I act for individual and institutional clients.
Elizabete has been involved in her fight against wrongful convictions since 1996. She was involved in the Robert Baltovich case - who is now free, but had been wrongfully convicted of killing his girlfriend, though the body was never found.
Elizabete was selected as the law student to present research at the Inquiry into the Guy Paul Morin wrongful conviction, and presented her work not only to the Commission of Inquiry but also at the House.
She continues to fight the system in order to avoid more wrongful convictions.
Her clients are very pleased with the results she obtained for them.
